Yowie Bay was a new build which Anna and her husband Craig embarked on after successfully completing two renovations and deciding to purchase a knock-down to rebuild in the beautiful suburb of Yowie Bay, Sydney.

The build was over a twelve month period which included working closely with an architect and builder with Anna designing the custom joinery, functional layout of each space and selecting finishes and fixtures. The brief was a coastal white weatherboard home, with a modern and timeless interior with functional family living.

This was achieved by creating an outdoor alfresco area as an extension of the indoor living, bringing the outdoors in. It was important that Anna and Craig could watch their two girls while inside, as well as enjoying the outdoor space as a family. It also needed to be a great space for entertaining that they could enjoy with friends and family while always keeping an eye on the kids.

This project is what ignited Anna’s passion for interior design, she loved and thrived on the whole process and during the final stages of the build she had enrolled at Sydney Design School to embark on her own interior design journey and has never looked back!
